my visit to Europe's largest travelling fun fair =)

The Hoppings was claimed to be Europe's largest travelling fun fair and I certainly had the best time of my live on my first ever visit to a fun fair.

Insi, Surein, moi, Java, Chie =p

from far...

Chie and moi at the entrance...

There were well over 60 large rides with several rides for kids and children. We didn't do all of them because none of us were millionaires but the prices for all the rides were generally reasonable and the organisers even provided vouchers that we printed online to get discounts.

Our first ride was the Ghost Train. It was a junior ride so it was nothing scary or thrilling. Like seriously, a couple of skeletons wouldn't scare me considering I've seen real ones ever so often. I practically play around with proper cadavers every other week to memorise all the names of the muscles and bones and alll the organs.

moi with Insi and Chie...
The secons ride we tried was the 'Bomber Mark 2' Booster Maxx ride. It was the tallest and fastest ride, not just in the entire funfair, but in the world!!! Only Chie and I went on it and it cost us 5 pound each and after being hurled upside-down in a circle for 10 rounds, I'd say that's the best 5 pound I've ever spend. Like seriously, I don't need drugs or alcohol to go high, I just need this ride!!! It was beyond scarily thrilling to defy gravity on this ride.

55metres tall and 83mph fast...best moments =p
Chie and moi excited to scare ourselves shit...
here goes the ride...round and round we go
we had to stay up there for a while waiting for other people to get on the other end of the ride...the view was spectacular!!!
back on the ground...

The next ride we tried was the 'Rhythm Master' Matterhorn. All of us took this ride because it was pretty much on the ground. Again, the ride hurled us in a circle at wayyyyyyy too many rounds I lost count after 5 at a speed in which had we crashed, a typical car crash would look really tame. Even Java's hairband got lost during the ride.

The last ride we took was the 'Stargate' Twin Spin. It was a shorter ride and it didn't go very high but being strapped to the wall of a circular floor while it span upside-down was thrilling nevertheless. The only problem with this ride was that it hurt our shoulder because the protective padding was kinda hard.

twirling upside down =p...
if you enlarge this, you can spot me wearing  red hoodie and white bottom at the top part of the floor...

Apart from the rides, we also tried some of the games. Most of them were pretty much the same. It was either you kick a ball into some holes,  or  throw balls to knock a set of can, or throw darts and the like. They were pretty fun and they had massive soft toys as prizes but somehow we all sucked at the games we could only get the small one. We were so jealous when everyone aound us walked around the fun fair carrying big-ass soft toy when we only won small ones =(

Surein trying to shoot some goals...
throwing balls at sets of cans...
soft toys Java and I won at throwing darts...
after splurging 5 pound that's what I got...I named it Hoppy...Monty now has a new friend =p
it was drizzling now and again so there was a rainbow...

Surein, Java and I also went into the 'Circus of Illusions' Mirror Maze. It wasn't scary but it was kinda fun getting lost in between the mirrors among your own reflections.

Other than that, there were lots of caravan with fortune-telling gypsies claiming they can read palms and look into crystal balls and such stuff. We didn't try it of course. I would rather spend all my money to buy food and die an obese rather than paying for some ugly old woman with warts on her face warning me that I'd die due to over-eating. As if that's any news!!!

I really wonder why these stupid people wanted to waste their money...most of them live on benefits...probably they're asking the best combination for gambling...

I really had a great time. It was just soooooooo much fun!!!

reverse bungee jumping...I wanted to do it but it cost 12.50 pound!!! =(
candy floss with a very weird aftertaste
they sold poisonous apples from Snow White...
scenery on our way back...
the dentists trying to jump but failed
I failed too...
Surein abusing the little teddy Java won because she hated it...the teddy was later abandoned on a bench...that thing is gonna turned out like Lotso from Toy Story 3...
